Wycoff
Methodist Episcopal Church
Wycoff, Bergen County

There was a Methodist church in or near Wycoff on the Franklin Turnpike
and I assume that this building, now occupied by the Assembly
of God, was that church. The congregation was organized in 1805 and
this building, undoubtedly the second or even third on the site, was
erected in 1868. It has been extended to the rear and I believe
at one time would have had a steeple and/or belfry.
