Messiah Church
Trenton, Mercer County

The Messiah church sits at a very prominent location on Front Street,
but it now serves as the Mill Street Theater. It was founded as an
Adventist
church by a local preacher in 1863, as a mission of a church in Morrisville.
The preacher called on local residents to gain members and raise enough
money to built a church in 1864, which he sold to a Lutheran congregation
in 1871, then built this building in 1873; it was sold to the Lutheran
Church of the Saviour in 1902. I have no information about when it
was converted to a theater.
