First Presbyterian Church at Plattsburg
Sykesville (North Hanover Township), Burlington County
This fine Greek Revival building, built in 1839 or 1844, comes as
a bit of a surprise in the very rural area (Route 537) where it is
located.
It
was constructed of brick and covered with stucco. Measured drawings
have been prepared by the Historical American Buildings Survey (HABS).
It is now known as the Presbyterian Church of Sykesville.
Thanks
to Dr. William Walker, Pastor of the church, for additonal information.
