Springdale Protestant Methodist Church
Warren Township, Somerset County
It is increasingly rare to find an early wooden church that has not
been encased in aluminum, but this modest, but charming church, located
on Washington Valley Road, appears untouched since it was built, sometime
before 1858. The original congregation was Protestant Methodist (there
are only a few in the state), but they deeded the building to the Methodist
church in 1858.
