Church of the Holy Trinity
Spring Lake, Monmouth County

This
is a lovely building, and apparently a favorite for weddings, as
there were advanced preparations for such on two of the three visits
I made to the church. The design is based on Richard Upjohn's early simple
plan for country churches, but the local builder rejected the board-and-batten
construction and the corner buttresses of Upjohn, and added several
then popular features, including the brackets under the eaves and
window mouldings.
National
Register.
