unknown Church
South Amboy, Middlesex County
Prominently located at Second and Stevens in South Amboy, this substantial
church displays two signs—library and Hibernian—although
it doesn't appear that either was very actively pursued when I made
this photograph. It was probably built in the 1880s, and it may have
served a Baptist congregation as I found some indication that a Baptist
church was located in this vicinity.
