Seventh
Day Baptist Church (original)
Vineland, Cumberland County

The
Seventh Day Baptist congregation in the Cohansey area of the county
split off from the main body of Baptist settlers about 1737. The
Shiloh congregation was organized in 1771 and this building, I am
guessing, was probably its second building, built in the 1820s. In
the background can be seen a later church, erected in the 1860s.
