Rosemont Methodist Episcopal Church
Delaware Township, Hunterdon County

Like many of the churches in the county, this congregation was was
formed (in 1859) when members of another church desired a place of worship
closer to their homes. Rosemont is three miles from Stockton, all uphill.
The church was erected in 1860, but has been used as a residence for
many years.
The village at one time (c. 1880) also
had a Presbyterian church, which appears on maps to be next door to
this building, but Snell does not list it in his 1881 History of the
county..
