Port
Elizabeth Methodist
Episcopal Church
Port Elizabeth, Cumberland County

The Old Red Church was erected in 1827 and doesn't appear to have been
altered significantly since. The congregation was organized in 1785,
which makes it probably the earliest Methodist congregation in the
county, and one of the earliest in the state.
