Presbyterian Church
Perth Amboy, Middlesex County
Perth Amboy has two old churches that are listed on the National Register
and the Presbyterian church could easily be a third. It sits on a large
plot on a prominent intersection (Market Street) . It is a large stone
building, but the memorable feature are the "steps" along the gable
and at the top of the tower. It was built in the 1880s, I surmise;
the church's own website tells nothing of its history or of the building.
