Thornley Chapel
Ocean Grove, Monmouth County

This small chapel, just a half block from the Grand Auditorium, seemed to typify the cottages in Ocean Grove. It was built in 1897, about twenty years after the camp meeting there had been officially organized by the Methodist Episcopal church.
