Mount Freedom Presbyterian Church
Mount Freedom, Randolph Township, Morris County

This traditional wooden building was put up in 1828, and enlarged in
1867-71. It has an emphasized pediment, which is probably a product
of the later construction, but otherwise is about as plain a building
as you are likely to findand in that respect, fairly typical of
the early churches in sparsely-settled areas. The congregation was organized
in 1820.
