First Methodist Episcopal Church
Morristown, Morris County
The Methodists in Morristown were organized in 1810 by Bishop Asbury.
By 1865 they had become so solidly established that they were able to
purchase property on the green and erect this substantial Gothic Revival
church. The architect was S.D. Hatch.
