Methodist
Episcopal Church
Madison, Morris County

This large red brick building in the Romanesque style was erected on
land adjacent to Drew University in 1870. The congregation was organized
in 1844. It is clearly in the tradition of the Glen
Gardner and Mansfield
Presbyterian churches, erected about the same time, but I have no information
about the architect.
