First Baptist Church
Lakewood, Ocean County

This
solid building was erected about 1898, according to a small placque
on the wall. Its rusticated stone and round arch windows mark it
as
Romanesque, but the angle of the tower and several other features suggest
its architect was rather accomplished and confident.
