Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church
Jersey City, Hudson County

Located
off Journal Square in the center of the city, the imposing 252 foot
tower is a landmark visible for miles. It was built in 1892, the
same year the parish was organized. There were substantial additions
and extensions in 1903.
