Bethel Methodist Episcopal Church
Hurffville, Gloucester County

The small hamlet of Hurffville on Route 49, not far from Glassboro, boasts this substantial Methodist church, erected in 1882. The lower story is given to meeting rooms, typical of post-Civil War Methodist churches, and the main sanctuary is on the second floor.
