Hammondton Presbyterian Church
Hammondton, Atlantic County

This large red brick building with the slate-shingled tower
was erected in 1896. The church was founded in 1861, according to the
church's secretary, and late in the century, about the time this building
was put up, it emphasized its mission to the Italians in the area.
It now has a largely Hispanic congregation, I was told.
