St.
Nicholas' Roman Catholic Church
Egg Harbor City, Atlantic County

St. Nicholas' is a traditional wooden frame Catholic church. There is
enough of the Gothic (such as the small pinnacles at the corners) to
reassure parishioners that they were not worshipping in a protestant
chapel. The church was erected in 1864, I am told, although
there are several later modifications and additions, particularly in
the entrance console.
