St. Nicholas' Roman Catholic Church
Egg Harbor City, Atlantic County

St. Nicholas' is a traditional wooden frame Catholic church. There is enough of the Gothic (such as the small pinnacles at the corners) to reassure parishioners that they were not worshipping in a protestant chapel. The church was erected in 1864, I am told, although there are several later modifications and additions, particularly in the entrance console.
