The Stone Academy
Dover, Morris County

The Stone Academy is the oldest building in Dover and was erected by one of the town’s leading citizens in 1829 in the expectation that it would be used for Presbyterian services, as a school, and as a meetinghouse for whatever other meetings might need this kind of space. It is now used for professional offices.
