The
Stone Academy
Dover, Morris County

The
Stone Academy is the oldest building in Dover and was erected by
one of the town’s
leading citizens in 1829 in the expectation that it would be used
for Presbyterian services, as a school, and as
a meetinghouse for whatever other meetings might need this kind of
space. It is now used for professional offices.
