Grace Methodist Episcopal Church (original)
Dover, Morris County

This
was a typical meetinghouse, not very different from the Boonton
Reformed church
which was
erected in Parsippany in 1835, three years earlier. It probably employs
the same construction as a barn, and the scale is about the same.
There are obviously new windows on the gable end, but the side windows
have been covered.
The building was replaced with a much larger church
in 1890.
