Clinton Baptist Church
Clinton, Hunterdon County

Six persons residing in Clinton in 1870 resolved to form a branch church of the Baptist church in Union township, a few miles away. They broke ground in 1871 and dedicated this church in 1872. It is a modest Romanesque revival style. Membership dwindled, as it did for its mother church, the Bethlehem Baptist church, and it was sold. It currently serves an Assembly of God congregation.
