First Baptist Church
Bridgeton, Cumberland County

This large stuccoed building was erected in 1854, but the dome is
clearly of a later date, added about 1900. The window surrounds and
cornice appear to be original. The architect was Thomas
R. Watson, from Philadelphia. Watson also designed the Berean Baptist
Tabernacle in Bridgeton, and the
Centenary Methodist church in Camden.
