Berean Baptist Tabernacle
Bridgeton, Cumberland County

In 1894 this fine building was erected. It was designed by architect Frank R. Watson, who also designed the Centenary Methodist church in Camden.
Towers and gables and surface textures were especially popular during this decade, and Baptist congregations from Newark and Hoboken to the Jersey shore were early to adopt many of the stylish architectural plans then in vogue.
