Bloomfield, Essex County

This
large red sandstone church now serves as the theater for Bloomfield College,
which is immediately adjacent. The large open-lattice belfry is distinctive—I
have never seen one like it in the state or in photographs from elsewhere.
The building was erected in 1890 in a late Romanesque style.
