First Reformed Dutch Church of Bergen Neck
Bayonne, Hudson County

The exceptionally tall steeple on this traditional design is a remarkable
survivor; the church was built in 1866 and most tall steeples of that
era were long ago blown down, struck by lightning or taken down by a
concerned congregation. The congregation was organized in 1828 and the
church is listed on the National Register.
